MiKen, founded in 2013 by Nashville native Michael Kenner, is a neighborhood-centric real estate development company that emphasizes community engagement and consensus building in its projects. After initially developing over 200 units in Nashville, the company moved to Chattanooga, where its growing team combines diverse expertise and entrepreneurial spirit to elevate the built environment.

ADVOCATING AND ACTIVISM IN THE COMMUNITY...
TURBO employs tactical urbanism methods, which involve small, temporary changes to the built environment aimed at fostering permanent citywide improvements. While primarily initiated by citizens to bypass bureaucracy, some city governments, like New York City, also use these methods to test new public space projects.
East Greenway Park is Nashville’s first health and wellness cottage community connected to the city’s greatest assets: Shelby Bottoms Park and Music City Bikeway. With a 41% tree save, sidewalks throughout, community gardens, fire pits and seating, outdoor gym on the fitness trail, park-style grills, picnic tables, dog park, and access to the greenway, the neighborhood makes it easy to stay active and connected to nature.
